Hello and thanks in advance for any help.

I am planning a 3 trip to Hawaii in November... planning to hit Oahu, Maui, the Big Island & Kauai for about 5-6 days each.

I'm wondering if anyone knows what would be the best use of 4 free hyatt nights that I have accumulated (which property, on which island).

I love staying at hyatts but will probably be using priceline for much of my trip, as going for such a long period is an expense.

Thanks very much!

Kauai is probably your best bang for the points, followed by Maui.

I agree - Kauai is by far the best Hyatt in the islands.^

Grand Hyatt Kauai. I would also look into purchasing Grand Club access here as well, if you don't already have it.

Just returned from 2 weeks in Hawaii. The GH Kauai was hands-down our favorite property. Spent six nights there, and would've loved more. Can't speak to any other Hyatt in Hawaii, but LOVED this one.

^ Just follow the points category and price of each hotel and you arrive at the same conclusion.

We visited Hawaii in January for 8 nights with our first three nights on the island of Hawaii staying at the Hilton Waikeloa (spelling) which was totally nice and worth the points that I used. It did require us to purchase breakfast as I am only a Gold in Hilton.

Specific to your post, we stayed five nights at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki on Oahu and totally enjoyed our stay. We took the option to use the five nights which included six dinners at a choice of the two restaurants at the hotel and daily breakfast. As a Diamond Member we had access to the Regency Club located on the third floor and thought it was one of the best clubs we had visited. You can have evening or breakfast items on the deck or inside and in the evenings there is a fire pit. My goal is to travel enough to earn Diamond Status and return to this hotel.

The Hyatt Regency has a Hertz rental on the premises which we used for four days of our stay. We used a shuttle to and from the airport. Our room was on the 26th floor overlooking the Pacific and Waikiki beach for the setting sun.

Very spacious rooms and an incredible feature which I have rarely seen which is the Toto heated toilet. I won't describe the features, but aside from snorkeling, hitting the beaches and shopping at a very nice mall, the Toto made for a memorable trip.

You could consider if you have the points available to use the three night option on Gold Passport to obtain breakfast and one night of dinner for two.
