Anyone have experience with a same-day turn in GDL? Do I have to clear customs? Will they ask lots of questions due to my very short stay?

If you're coming from any international flight into Mexico you have to pass through immigration and customs and the crowd in GDL could be massive! No they won't ask any questions as you dont have an exit immigration point.

Immigration in Mexico is just like the US. Arrival straight to immigration, customs and exit. You then proceed through security to boarding area. No exit immigrations.

I can safely say Guadalajara is mostly safe and these cases are isolated. As long as you stick to the tourist route you'll be fine.

I'm seeing booking class G 100% on UA but 50% on most *A MM doesn't earn a thing.

This is an awesome deal. Also good fares from LAX/SNA-MEX for about $300 (not MR material, but great deal). Jumped into MEX to visit some relatives, but GDL would be the perfect MR for those who need them.

$105 fare ONT-GDL comes up at $167 on dot.bomb (G fare), looks bookable via other sites.

I can confirm that I saw this fare on ITA. It showed up for travel in late May and early June. Now ITA shows $400+ and .bomb G class has been zeroed out.

This was an interesting case that UA posted same (or similar) fares from the US and Mexico at the same time. It usually doesn't works that way. ONT/SMF/FAT fares looked having issue unlike other ex-CA fares...

I confirm. I have been going to GDL once a year for the last 6 years and everything is fine. No problem going out at night. Just don't try to play Batman with local gangsters.

I'm not seeing anything close to this fare...
