Just checked a flight from Hongkong to Beijing in July (around July 4th) and saw the cheapest Economy ticket was on China Southern and the A380 came up.
Do they really operate this plan from Hongkong to Bejing and how reliable is their schedule ?
If its really the A380 I will splurge on a C or F ticket just to try it out but afraid to waste money on their old planes.
Any idea about their planned schedule ?
Anybody tried the 380 already and is F vs C worth it for the relative short flight ? I saw they got a limousine service to and from the airport, this alone is already worth part of the price difference (ok, maybe not in Beijing, I tend to take the airport express especially at congested times).

If you are buying an F ticket, you can buy it last minute at the ticket counter, right?

4 hour in F around US$800. I can't get that price on AA Full Y

Yes, but by then the economy ticket is way more expensive because I don't see the point paying so much for a 3 hour flight and then ending up on a A320 or 737.

There is a thread somewhere around here on CZ's 380 (which does fly PEK-HKG) that includes a long press release. F looks really, really cool. Search for "super first class".

Yes, CZ operates their A380 on the HKG-PEK route. I'm booked on this flight in late-June.
