US Airways Dividend Miles - TrackItBack (Appears to be out of business!)

Does anyone know if this former DM partner has gone out of business? I was looking to buy some more stickers for newly acquired devices and it seems to be gone.

They have a UK website (http://ww2.trackitback.com/gb/en/main/index.htm), but I can't get the US site to load.

I bought a new suitcase and applied a TrackitBack sticker to it. I went to the website to register the bag. I can't get either the US or Canada sites to load.

So I called the 800 number they print on the stickers. The recording, "You have reached a non-working number at Apple Tree Answering Service. . ."

I found a number for the HQ in Winnipeg and while the auto attendant answered the call, I could not connect to anyone at any of the offered extensions.

Bummer. :(

Bummer, I actually have these stickers on my Blackberry and iPad ... might just have to make up my own I suppose.

Guess this means the $2,000 in stickers I have sitting in my home office are worthless now ...

Can't really help you with the quantity part, but it seemed to me that ~$44 for 100 vinyl tags was a reasonably good deal even if the quantity was more than I needed. http://www.myassettag.com/

Thats not too bad, I was looking at the metal ones, which would be much more money.

Wonder if we can make a chargeback with the credit card company for a refund of the TrackItBack purchase price? TrackItBack is a Canadian company, and this may complicate things with the credit card company.

I won one of these at the Chicago 2011 DO and was just trying this morning to register it. Sure glad I got it for free.

I've been trying to replace a broken plastic tag I received for Christmas. Received pleasant answers on the phone (at least four times) and received zero results over the past two months. Couldn't take the time to stay on top of this, and I'm not too surprised that the website is down (again). The handling of this failure gives others trying to serve this market a black eye!

Yeah I doubt I could chargeback my sticker from last year, but it might be worth a try.

BUT oh SO glad I did buy them in 2009 -
20 LH F class trips for my family for 2.8M miles for 20k at 1k per LH F round trip.
I still have 6 fedex boxes sitting at home. Can I now give them to charity?
Or can I take a business deducton for the "loss" of value or use??

Aren't they pretty much worthless without Trackitback.com to back them up?

FWIW, my only lost item with a TrackItBack sticker (a PDA left in a seat pocket several years ago) was never found/returned. :(

I figured why pay the extra charge for the handling of the return not knowing how long these places would be in business. I bought some asset tags with my phone# and email and put them on just about everything I own
