Mileage Run Deals - Anyone want to trade award tickets?

**BTW- There are a ton of forums here & this is my best guess at a fit for this topic. Mods feel free to move as appropriate.

I need a one way flight (or 2) from Anchorage back to Charlotte, NC (or nearby airports like Greenville, SC) sometime in August.

I have enough miles to buy coach seats on either Southwest or Airtran, but unfortunately neither services Anchorage.

I propose a trade of tickets with someone interested in flying somewhere via either of the above airlines in exchange for tickets (on any airline which flys from Anchorage, AK: eg. United, Delta, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, USairways) from Anchorage.

To clarify- you would tell me your date, destination, and info required to book the ticket(s) in your name, and vice versa. We all book travel and everybody wins. Simple, right?

I guess the catch is that a lot of airlines don't allow one-way reward travel (Airtran/SW both do), so we can figure something out.

Anyway, if there's some website/thread that helps orchestrate this concept please direct me there- I couldn't find anything particularly relevant.

Finally- I've visited this forum fairly often but never registered till today so that I could make this post. I would be happy to verify and validate that this is a legitimate offer from a legitimate fellow traveler. I have many options available to do this, and would be expect the same from any potential "trader".

Thanks for your consideration!

There is a forum on FT for this purpose, but it is limited to members who have participated on FT for a certain length of time and have a certain number of posts.

Welcome to FT!

janetdoe is correct as there is a forum to facilitate trades called Coupon Connection but access is limited to members who have 180 days of FlyerTalk membership and 180 posts, though note that post padding (posts without content meant to increase your post count) or rapid-posting will result in the loss of Coupon Connection privileges, regardless of the content of such posts.

While it may not work for you this time I hope you stay and participate and eventually earn CC access.
