Haven't seen this posted on FT, so thought I better bring it to your attention;

Get your kicks on Route 66. Almost makes me want to take the 55 Buick out of the garage and go on a road trip.

Hope someone can take advantage of this offer.

The question is, will they enforce this (from the linked page):

Offer not valid with any other promotion or discount.
The reason is that except for the last day (June 4), the RTE66 promo period is entirely inside the JUMP12 promo period, and likely most people already had registered for JUMP12 by the time you posted the news of this RTE66 promo.

(I know I've had other promos stack on the same stays at BW before, but I can't remember if they had such clauses or not.)

I believe it's an enforced policy. Had two stays in the BW Chula Vista, Ca but no bonus points on my account...

Well, it took a while, but today I checked my BW statement online (for the first time in almost a week), and not only did my 3000 + 1000 for the JUMP12 promo (BW MC payment + booking online) post, but a couple days before that the 6600 RTE66 points did post (for the first two of my three JUMP12 stays). So despite the "not valid with any other promotion language", RTE66 did stack with JUMP12 for me. (My first two stays were in Costa Mesa CA and Lubbock TX. There wasn't a requirement that they be different hotels or different states, was there? Of course, the promo being over, they've pulled the T&Cs from the website...)

It posted this way:

06/03/2012
Do Not Register - Online Only -Rte66 - Multi - Co-Op - Route 66 Bwr Offer
0 6600 0 6600

(Gosh, I think that's the longest descrription of a bonus points posting I've ever seen at BW! :) )

They are now arguing that only one out of three stays (the one where I took BW points) would count towards the promotion :confused:

I would always assume that points promos only work on points-earning stays (not miles-earning stays), because that's usually the case in most hotel programs.

If you want miles badly enough, you should be happy with just the miles. Otherwise, remember when you've signed up for points promotions, and keep your earning preference on points until you're finished with the points promotion.
