Qatar Airways Privilege Club - Qatar availability on United-phantom??

Hi!
I am trying to book award tkt in business class JFK -DOH-RGN on Qatar on United website ,November 19..
Both segments show as available in business(I), but when I tried to book, I got error at the end. I called United twice, both times agents could only find availability in revenue C, no award space, meanwhile I see it every day on United site- drives me insane..

I booked JFK-BRU-BKK-RGN for now, but I'd really like to switch to Qatar and shorten my flight by 8 hours.
If anybody can give me an advice on how to do it, I would be immensely grateful!

Hmmm, It doesn't seem to be any award seats at all that week from JFK to DOH..... I never seen that before. And Qatar airways website don't understand the airport code RNG either (when searcing for awards). But when you search for ordinary tickets RNG is ok.
Maybe something wrong with the software....

Probably because RGN hasn't started yet...

I called Qatar today , the agent said that there are award seats and they should be available to partners.
Then he said "You can use your United miles to book with us, you just give us you United mileage number.."
Anybody heard of that..?
I couldn't attempt to do that as I already have my miles tied up in United reservation I want to change..

I talked with a QR agent who said it was in fact, not possible, to book with them using a United #. She said I need to call United.
