Can anyone explain how you can fly with a 34" or large wheeled duffle when the length+width+depth is greater than 62"?
You can fly with it paying an oversize (and possible an overweight one, also) luggage fee.
Or you can try your luck: if the airline clerk that process your baggage does not perceive it to be oversize, no fee will be assessed. Marginally oversize bags rarely are measured, but all bags are weighted.

Welcome to Flyertalk.
Many airlines will let you go up to 115 or so inches, but you will have to pay an oversize bag fee of something like $100 per bag.
It's usually much less expensive to break it up into two smaller bags that are not oversized if it's possible.
