I recently got a schedule change on my SIN-NRT-SFO flight on NH. It appears that I only have one hour to spare at NRT. The kicker is that I purchase a VX ticket going to DFW from SFO on the same day, orig with 2 hours to spare at SfO). Help! and thanks.

NRT is very efficient. One hour should be sufficient to reclear security and change planes.

Thanks! Now in case i can't make for whatever reason, how would NH reaccomodate me (at least to SFO)? Besides a SQ flight, there is nothing else until the next day. I'm traveling on Z ticket

Search is always your friend. One of many threads http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/all-nippon-airways-mileage-club/1249156-too-tight-connection-nrt.html on this topic.

I hate to say it, but you are probably going to lose this ticket if you are delayed in getting to SFO. Since they are separately booked tickets, NH will not care that you need to catch a separately ticketed VX flight, and VX will not care that your incoming NH flight was late. If I were in your shoes I would spend a night at SFO and fly to DFW the next day, so that you at least have some wiggle room for potential delays.

Its a legal NH connection. The west coast flights wait for BKK and SIN arrivals.

Do this consistently on the NH BKK -> NRT -> SFO. Exactly 1 hour layover. Even last time when the first leg was delayed, they held the plane for me and met me at the gate with a private escort to the next flight. Was traveling in C as I recall.

I wouldn't stress over it. And NRT -> SFO is frequently a bit early due to winds, so hopefully you'll be ok in SFO. If you have Global Entry, it should be no problem. Immigration is the only real question mark from my perspective.
