Hi all,
I'm looking to fly to India at the end of June for 10-14 days and wanted your opinion on the best/least expensive airport to fly into.
I'm coming from Toronto Canada but can fly out of Buffalo or Detroit. I'm also able to fly into a smaller town in India and take the train to wherever.
Any help would be really appreciate. This will be my first time to India.

I actually think flying out of Toronto would be your best option. Detroit would be second and Buffalo a distant third.
Regarding airports in India, where do you need to go? In general, flying into Mumbai (BOM) or New Delhi (DEL) is best. Flights to those airports are generally cheaper than to other international airports in India. And those airports provide the most number of international options.
If you haven't yet bought your ticket for June travel to India, be prepared for sky-high prices!

Flying YYZ-BOM/DEL is probably going to be the cheapest, because AI tends to drive down prices on the routes they serve (at the expense of the Indian taxpayer :()
