American Express Membership Rewards - Amex to BA- Avios Bonus, any country?

I got also the mail from BA to take advantage of the bonus on AMex Rewards.

But I have a Belgium Amex.

Is this offer for all countries or just for UK and USA as I saw different threads here.

AFAIK there is no bonus for Germany now. So I *think* these specials are depending on the country of membership.

Did the email specify the size of the bonus? There are offers running in the USA (50%), Canada (50%), and Finland (30%). There are also reports that Canadian transfers are posting at the wrong rate (30% rather than 50%). This suggests that BA may be unable to accurately determine the nationality of a transfer from Membership Rewards. I would make a minimum size transfer to test.

Slightly off-topic - do you guys know if MR->Avios transfer instantly like Aeroplan for CA cardholders, or is there a delay?

it took mine about 3 days to post but with an error. another 3 days to correct the error. this is from a canadian amex.
