Italy - Sardinia Accommodation

Hi all,

Will be staying in Sardinia from 19 June - 26th and looking for some suggestions on places to stay. Some of the stuff on tripadvisor seems a few years old, so I was hoping for some more recent opinions from people.

Don't want to spend much more than perhaps 250 euro a night

We will be spending most of the time up around costa smeralda. First couple of nights we were looking at somewhere in baia sardinia.

I'm going to organise a hire car as per some previous recommendations in threads as it sounds like a must do to get around properly.

Any advice would be great... thanks!

when i followed the starwood threads, there were a number of comments about the starwoods in sardinia(mainly the high price of food at the starwood resorts). i think they suggested alternatives for places to stay, and places to eat.

thanks, I had picked up on the above (high price of food etc) from flicking through threads as well. I might go have a look in the starwood threads and see what I can find re alternative accom.
