I have two flights booked with Turkish in Business. I will detail the itinerary and then proceed with my question:
TK 1786 CPH - IST 18:05 Thu Aug. 2 2012 Boeing 738
TK 70 IST - HKG 00:55 Fri Aug. 3, 2012 Boeing 773ER
Based on the seat selection offered at the Turkish website, I'd like to have 2A for both segments. However, I checked another page with all the configurations existent in the Turkish fleet, and there are a few differences between similar planes. I'd like to choose seats that exist in whatever configuration is scheduled for my dates, so I'll still be OK if they send a different plane with less seats. Also, I've read in this forum that Turkish sometimes swaps planes. Is 2A a good choice based on the mentioned factors?
Also, as we are on this subject, how good is Turkish in honoring seat assignments? If it helps, I'm on an Air Canada Aeroplan reward RTW, but I'm going to book seats directly with Turkish.
I'll appreciate any information.
