I booked a ticket through vayama.com yesterday but received an email today that my ticket will be canceled. They also left me some voice mail. I found the mail was from cheaptickets.sg. It is stange. I googled both companies. One is in mountainview CA and one is in Singapore. The telephone number in mountainview no response and I did find people through their singapore telephone number. The guy is polite and should be the guy left me voice mail. He said the price is gone while waiting for my credit card company verification and try to find alternative for me.

In this case, what should I do?

It is obvious wrong price but it is still there.

Did your ticket start in RGN?
$5 CAD says it did.
If so, please post in the RGN thread.

What was the fare like?
i.e.
Carrier(s)?
Fare base(s)?
Point of sale?
Routing?
(This is because the tickets never even had to touch RGN, but, rather, it was a currency issue that caused all of those tickets to be priced lower.)

I've read a few reports of this happening with Vayama.com. While they're attempting to bill/ticket, which can take 24 hours, one of the sides "times out" meaning the fare is gone or the credit card authorization is released by the credit card company.

Vayama has connections to several Asian sites:

cheaptickets.sg
cheaptickets.co.th
cheaptickets.hk

Huh? If you received your ticket, what's the problem? I'm sure you meant that you received an email cancellation.

If there was something wrong with the ticket, then why be concerned that it was canceled? If it was a nicely priced ticket, but yet canceled, then if it was actually ticketed (confirmation number, with record locator), and included travel at any point in the USA, I'd file a complaint with DOT. If not, then perhaps a government organization in your country may be able to help.

Thank you for your advice. My english is poor. :(

The reason I feel frustrated is that I also booked the other part of my travel. All went through smoothly except this one. If I cannot get this ticket I might need to cancel all my trip and rebook everything.

Please post any questions related to the RGN deal in that thread only.
