Hertz - Hertz Pick up/Drop Off Service Hotel-Hotel question

I know that HLE doesn't pick up at the airport, but if I were to stay at a hotel near the airport, would they come pick me up? Booked at the HLE at Hilton LAX with an excellent rate but might be staying at the Doubletree in El Segundo about 8 minutes away. Would need to get picked up at the El Segundo, and for the return I'll just do it at the airport.

I've never used this service and I am very unfamiliar with it :(

It shouldn't be a problem.

I would call a day or so in advance and confirm. I did this a few months ago at a Hertz in LA, it took a bit of work. Selected the pick up service at time of reservation and called the hertz location when I was checking out of the hotel (about 30mins) before reservation was scheduled to begin and the person who answered the phone was fairly clueless. I finally spoke to a manager who at first was reluctant stating I should have used a different location that was closer (I plugged in the hotel's address on the hertz website and selected the closest location) but I eventually got a pick up. Although, it took them almost half an hour to come pick us up, when we were only 1.5 miles away.

ask the location if they will credit you for a taxi ride. Up to a $10 credit might occur. I would have rented at Marriott Hertz LAX because the garage at Hilton LAX gets me dizzy six levels below.
