Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - AS Visa $99 companion certificate expiration question

This is the first year that I've had the AS Visa, and I'm planning a trip from LAX to SEA in late August. My initial $99 companion code is set to expire on 07-06-2012. Does anyone know if I will receive my new companion code for the upcoming year before or after that expiration date? The reason I ask is because I have two family members traveling with me, and I'd like to use both codes when I book, if such a thing is possible. :)

Even if your second code posts a day or two before the expiration, you still won't be able to do what you're trying to do. You can only enter one code for each booking and each companion fare needs its own individual full price fare.

You can use two companion codes for August travel (book one before the July code expires and one afterwards with the new code) but you need 4 passengers and two bookings. If you have three people it won't work. If you have three people you could invite a fourth person to come along so you would get the benefit of using the second companion code.
