Destinations is among others from CPH to Poznan, Wroclaw and Lyon and some flights to Geneva and Hamburg. But quite a bit more.

But SAS tries to put into extra equipment of its own.

SAS has four CRJ-200 that are leased from Cimber. SAS will continue to operate them.

I might be wrong. But the article says Cimber "will try" to keep the jets in operation.

At least: to day the Cimber-operated flights to Poznan and Wroclaw were cancelled.

I have a booking with them CPH-BCN on 22 june. The flight is supposedly operated by Jettime. Is it too early to say if I will be affected?

On a slightly related matter, these tickets were bought through Expedia with a Visa card. Which would be the best way to get my money back?

If it has been purchased with a Visa/Dankort, and if you just bought the airline tickets (no hotel etc), your money is probably lost.
But contact Expedia - or read more here:

A major blow to Danish domestic service. Several airports are now without service to CPH. Got stuck in KRP today - one of the airports with no service at present to CPH.

Hope other players will jump in quickly - I for one would prefer SAS - and hope that Norweigan will stay away. Wishes, wishes..

Rumors have that FlyBe will jump in on some routes

DAT and Sun-Air has already taken over several routes, and DY one, some even operating from today:

DAT: CPH-SGD (5xdaily) and CPH-RNN (6xdaily) (first flights 03MAY, full program from approx 17MAY)
Sun-Air: AAL-OSL, BLL-OSL, BLL-ARN
DY: CPH-KRP (4xdaily) (from 06MAY)

I am pretty sure that Flybe Nordic, Skyways and SAS will take over most of the other regional routes, previously operated by QI's ATR and CRJ.

How do these cases normally go in terms of flights that are operated by an airline that goes bankrupt but the tickets are issued by another airline? At least in Malev's case, I understood that OneWorld partners re-routed the passengers having Malev operated flights on partner airline tickets.

My example is that I have a ticket issued by SAS of which one leg is operated by Cimber. The problem is that it's booked via an online travel agent...

You are probably covered if your ticket numer starts with 117. But doublecheck with SAS or your travel agent.

Well, let's see. Now it seems like Flybe are ready to compete on some of the routes. KRP would likely be one of them.

QI is back in the air from Saturday. This is to keep the company attractive to potential buyers, says bankruptcy attorneys. It is the four CRJ200's operating on behalf of SK.

Not directly. Cimber bought some of the bankrupt Sterling leftovers, which worked out as a very bad idea. The 737 ops taken over from Sterling killed Cimber.
Cimber took the Cimber Sterling name back in 2008.

Well Sterling is followed by problems, bankrupt in 92, 2008 and now it killed Cimber :-(

Booked CPH-RNN for flights at the end of may, booked 3 days before bankruptcy was declared. Payed with my diners club. Immediately notified CC company after bankruptcy. Wonder if I'll get a refund?

Shouldn´t be a problem. I had a Malev ticket paid with Diners and the money was refunded in about a week.

Edited to add:

There is information now on Diners webpage on what to do.

Yes but only for 12 days. Then SAS has to find another solution...

Have they even found a short-term solution?

Tried booking BLL-CPH tomorrow morning without luck, called EB CS only to be told that they have no service for the time being. Can't believe that SK now has no service whatsoever out of BLL (8th largest airport in Scandinavia) barring the LH/FRA codeshare. Ended up with DY KRP-CPH.

4 x daily QI OSL-BLL which was a SK codeshare has been taken over by Sun-Air/BA (at least a bit of comfort as only alternative is DY :( )

I believe otherwise loyal mid/south/west-Jutland based SK pax are now being left entirely to KL/AF, BA, LH, DX and DY with the lack of response from SK :-/ and i could fear there will be no response at all from SK, even long-term.

Thanks. I'm booked on SK1244 on Saturday which is one of the QI-operated flights. It seems to have been running in recent days so presumably SK have taken it over.

Flew HEL-CPH on Tuesday. The Cimber Sterling paint next to the door of the CRJ-200 was already painted over/decals removed (still well visible). The tail sported a rectangular SAS logo.

It was funny to see a CRJ 200 having a 3-class service :D

I got my first ever op-up with SK on this flight. :) Don't know why (eco was not 100% full) but I ended up moving back one row to an empty row in eco rather than having to push shoulders with my neighbour. I got the Eco extra meal though.

Planning some trips over the next 2-3 weeks and one of them is CPH-STR. This route is having Cimber as OP and a question to your all is if this is taking a chance or SK will ensure that it is flying?

I do not want to have an extra stay over if I can avoid it :-)
