Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - "Suites" can now be booked on Standard Award?

I see several dates in June and August with standard Suite availability using Krisflyer miles. Am I late to the party or is this a new feature?

I suspect a glitch. Grab them while they last.;)

Now see it on the JFK route as well.

If only Amex transfers were instant....

Perhaps this is a decision change by the management?

It is Standard awards OP was referring to. AC can only see Saver awards.@:-) You need to call SQ and use SQ miles for Standard awards.

Looks like they pulled it already? :(

If anyone sees any routes that still have space, please do let us know (or PM me, I'll book it faster than I can respond:D).

What are the chances they would honour such a booking if it turns out to be a glitch?

I would say 99.99999% if you have it ticketed and don't make changes.:) I don't want to say 100% as there are always some minute possibility of surprises.:p

Are you seriously considering this???

I mean given that the C seat leaves nothing open to be desired .... and can be had as a saver award.

Nah, only think I'm going for apart from C is F on the AMS route. :)

It will be honored. But don't expect to be able to change any dates.

Travelled to and from MXP on F saver glitch last year.

F savers are better. Not much more than C savers.

Just travelled in Suites last week. It is better than F, but not twice better. I am ok with up to 30% premium over F.

That would be my extrapolation - not worth the Standard Award IMNSHO.

I travelled in Suites last week as well and agree with SQueeze.

Hard product aside, there is absolutely no difference in the delivery of service, and that was confirmed by the crew on several occasions. Unless of course, you count the wet towel on a plate during meal service ;)

I think the premium between F and R should be less than 20%, as reflected in the prices of cash bookings.
