Perhaps you could tell us which airline(s) are you flying with, and then you can be pointed to the prospective lounge(s)? slawecki May 3, 12, 7:49 am when i flew biz class in ua a few years back, the rcc was tatty, noisy, smoke filled, and packed. we went to the gate. gate area was much nicer. also good thing we did. they decided to board early, and they were considering to give our seats away. kcaluwae May 3, 12, 3:18 pm I will have a 2 hour layover in BRU on my way to Copenhagen. (open to oneworld) Nothing much specail about this lounge. Never had a problem finding a good seat. Spend most my time there in mornings. Bfast is OK. Nothing really special, selection of cereals and croissants. I suppose they are not serving spectacular food choices later on during the day. I don't think they have the infrastructure to do so. Good selection of drinks and spirits. Internet avalaible. Ask for a password at the entrace. Limited to 1 hour. (maybe you can just ask another password for the next hour, never had the need to do so) This lounge is definitely better than the gate area. The SN lounge is just accross the corridor. Never been there. David-A May 4, 12, 4:17 am <snip> update on the BA lounge. (open to oneworld) Nothing much specail about this lounge. Never had a problem finding a good seat. Assuming it's SN, I wouldn't bother with the lounge (which is in the Schengen terminal). It frankly is hardly even worth going upstairs, particularly if you're only going to have a few minutes. The SN lounge offerings are minimalist. chollie May 7, 12, 7:34 am What really counts would be your flight to CPH. The SN lounge offerings are minimalist. If time is tight, I concur. I just came through there (and EWR) yesterday. The contrast between gate and lounge is much less at BRU than it is at EWR. Also, there are no showers and the toilet facilities are outside the lounge. luchoqc May 9, 12, 7:16 pm What really counts would be your flight to CPH. I am looking for two things: a shower and decent breakfast. Looks like there are 3 different SN lounges and one SAS. Any recommendation? luchoqc May 9, 12, 7:30 pm Oh, and I have 3 hours between flights! luchoqc May 13, 12, 1:24 am Follow this link for more info about BRU *alliance lounges http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/miles-more-lufthansa-austrian-swiss-other-partners/1345131-bru-choice-lounges-3-sn-vs-sas.html |
