Hyatt Gold Passport - Pre paid rate at PH DXB

I love this hotel and have stayed here 4x previously, usually on a Virtuouso rate, but am considering a low prepaid rate for my next quick visit. I am only a Platinum and it will be too hot to sit outside on the balcony in any case, but will they give me a view of a brick wall(or their equivalent) if I book this rate? Thanks.

from my point of view, i would continue booking via virtuso...
the amenties you got there are probably worth (as diamond no uprade etc)

i don´t know if the prepaid rate is eligible for point upgrades, i don´t this so :-(

so all in all you have to calculate and consider what´s your aim.

Thanks for the quick reply. Think I will find out what the Virtuoso rate is before deciding since a spa credit would be welcome. I still haven't tried the GH either and a club room there is an option too-just worried about how many kids will be at that hotel/pool.

some business friends were there and they were a little bit disappointed because of the kids, i think you should prefer the PH.
Please let me know, what the Virtuso Rate was :-)

Thanks, that makes me even more hesitant to book the GH. The PH has such a great spa/pool too so will check on all rates first.

All DXB hotels have the same 20 percent tax rate. Given that DXB has no income, sales, or capital gains tax, they have to raise revenue from somewhere, and tourist taxes seem to help foot the bill.

you can't seriously believe that the UAE is counting on tourism taxes to fuel growth.... :confused: The 20% is split as 10% taxes and 10% service charge btw.

The Virtuouso rate is the best as it includes breakfast and a food and spa credit and room upgrade when available. Love summer rates!
