No. The only airline flying this route is Bangkok Airways (PG), a very nice boutique airline. But you have to know that, due to their monopoly on this route, fares are quite expensive. They are not affiliated to any alliance but have code-sharing agreements with many airlines, including AF, Air Berlin. However, I think there is no code-share at all on BKK-REP. So you cannot earn Skyteam miles on this route but you can redeem Flying Blue miles on PG (but be prepared to give a lot of miles : 50,000 miles on FB for a return BKK-REP).

If you are not pressed for time, overland is now easier than it used to be as the road from Poipet to REP is now paved. Bus to Aranyaprathet and a taxi from the Cambodian side of the border is the best option for doing it overland. If you want to spend a bit more, you can take a Thai taxi from BKK to the border and then followed by a cambodian taxi,.

come on. How can you seriously consider flying through SIN to fly from BKK to REP :confused: How much will you save (if you save something) compared to the non-stop PG ? And you transform a less than 1 hr flight in a 4hrs journey minimum.

I am not saying that the poster should fly from BKK to REP via SIN. You misunderstood. What I am saying is that you have more options to fly to REP from SIN. If the intent is to fly frpom Australia to REP, going via SIN is a better option than through BKK. :)

REP is a gateway to a fascinating destination and - IMHO - the OP could be very pleased to buy a non-stop ticket rather than wasting time that could be spent in REP with connections on SkyTeam carriers.

Both inclusive of taxes.
If you are arriving from elsewhere in the world, SIN has better pricing options than to connect via BKK.
Unfortunately, if you insist on Skyteam, the only connection is via Ho Chi Minh.

And PG is a great airline, all customers get access to their lounge, they'll probably serve you a meal even on a short flight and they have a stylish in-flight magazine. There were rumours a few years ago they were looking at joining SkyTeam, but I think financial difficulties in the GFC put that on hold. Worth taking the non-stop, and if you are a member of airberlin or Etihad's programs, you can credit it there.

There is also MH which flies direct to REP from KUL. It's not a full ST member, but you can earn/redeem miles with other ST carriers. However, no MQM are awarded. It is supposed to join OneWorld at the end of the year.

It would be safe to assume (or at least worry based on previous examples) that when MH joins one world, the options to earn and redeem on MH with various SkyTeam miles will end, although any trips ticketed before the change should certainly be honored, probably with no changes permitted. If the OP wants to use the MH option, he/she should probably not wait too long. YMMV.

If you are on a ST RTW, then it would make sense to take VN via SGN. I recently went from SIN to BKK with a stop at SGN because I was on a ST RTW. It really wasn't bad at all and the lounge at SGN is pretty nice. Sure a non-stop would be better, but adding flights on a RTW is basically free so why not?
