Miami-Paris on BA with lie flat seats 747-400 but a connection in London.
In AA, non-stop, same price but it is a 767-300 with kind of flat seats, what would you choose?

Presumably you will pay more in taxes by going via LHR. But if that is not an object I think I would go for the BA ClubWorld

I'd prefer the nonstop I guess. But a 747 is a 747.... I think AA's 2 class J is a generally a very nice soft product. Are you returning CDG-MIA? If so, maybe do BA over there with lie flat on the overnight, and AA J, as those seats are nice for lounging/napping away the afternoon.

BA.
Product is far superior to AA. But you also get a shot at sitting upstairs on a 747. That is always a treat, IMHO.

Also keep in mind where will you accrue your miles BA OR AA ?
Using miles while going thru LHR are insane.

I'm EXP at AA, so it's probably surprising when I say that my vote is for Air France. :D Otherwise, BA.

Personally, I'd take the non-stop and avoid Heathrow. While there are good reasons for considering BA (as other posters have noted, the Club World product is better), you'd have to deal with LHR and (most likely) a terminal change. LHR ranks right up there with CDG as an airport that I personally dislike for connections. YMMV

Think this thread may be on the wrong board but personally I'd say BA because I don't like wedgie seats and I love the Upper Deck on BA.
I don't like wedgie seats .
I don't think there's anybody out there who likes wedgies.
Not sure if the OP likes London or not, but I used to fly to LHR,
spend a few hours with friends, then take the Eurostar into Paris,
all before dinner time.

I like the Eurostar especially Leisure Select, now redone as Standard Premier and would choose that if traveling from Central London to Paris.

every 747 i have ever been on is noisy and cold. in spiite of all the bad mouth, the"new" ua biz with flat seats on 767&777 are a very nice ride.
