The curent offer is finished May 8 for receiving bonus points when staying at a Choice hotel. Does anyone know what the next offer will be and when it will start?

Just got an email from Choice - it looks like a similar promo to now - stay two times and get 8,000 points. This one is different in that the 8,000 points can be used to redeem for a $50 gift card (normally 16,000 points). Appears to only be earned one time per member. Runs for stays 5/17-8/15.
It doesn't appear to be 8k bonus points, but however many bonus points are needed to give your two stays a total of 8,000. Disappointing, as I have a relatively pricey (for Choice) memorial day stay coming up, and am spending about $600 for one stay. Not planning on going out of my way to stay a second time at choice if I can only earn 2,000 points total for it. Would have preferred double points.
