Travel Products - Tumi Advisory Panel...any one here a member?

I've been a member of the Tumi Advisory Panel for a few years and am one monthly question away from redeeming my points for a nice Tumi product. However, I haven't gotten any questions lately. Is anyone else here a Tumi Advisory Panel member? If so, have you continued to get questions? And have you been able to redeem points for an award?

It's starting to look like one of those scams where they get you up close to an award and then never give you the opportunity to get enough points to redeem, or suddenly the 'good' awards are out of stock.

I am and I feel the same way, I am one “Question of the month” away from getting 225 point which would actually get something useful for me from the selection. I noticed this last year as well there was a gap in questions. It seems whomever at Tumi is responsible for posting the question has forgot about the program. The last email I received was 2/28/2012

I emailed them and they responded quite quickly stating:

The advisory panel is still active, however we have not had a question in a few months. We will be publishing a new one next week, you will receive an invitation email as soon as its published to the site.

I emailed and got a similar reply:


Thank you for your inquiry and your participation in the Tumi Advisory Panel.

The Tumi Advisory Panel is still active. We are getting ready to launch the next question, worth 10 Tumi Points. You will receive an email notification when the new question has been posted to the site.


(Surprised how much effort it takes to write questions like 'how often do you use a computer bag?', but I do appreciate the opportunity to get a nice Tumi product...)

How do you become a member of the panel?

I joined by invitation a number of years ago. I don't see any way to sign up at present, but if you do a Google search for Tumi Advisory Panel, you might have better luck.

New question is finally up :) I was able to redeem points for the cross body bag that I've had my eye on. :)
