Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - 1 hour 10 minute connection time in IST. Enough time?

At the beginning of June I will be flying C class TLV-IST and then IST-BJV. I arrive IST at 11:35pm and depart for Bodrum at 12:45am. For those who have done this at this particular time, should I be ok or worried? I assume that I have to exit the international terminal and clear security again in the domestic terminal. Oh, and I will have checked bags too.
Any information that you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

A 1 hour 10 minute connection is cutting it very close. I would go for a alternative connection as the next flight to BJV is at 07:15 am.
Assuming you arrrive on time and you check through your luggage to BJV (which you can) you might make it.
Be sure to use the TK fast track immigration lane for C pax. Also after clearing customs and exiting the luggage hall turn left, follow the signs for the domestic terminal, at the end of the moving walkway connecting domestic to international turn left again and take the lift to the TK Domestic CIP lounge where you will go through security. You will be bussed directly to your flight from there. Good luck:)
I had a schedule change with TK which, among other changes brought IST conection to 1hr 15mins. during the mandatory call re: schedule change, ticket agent advised that this connection is problematic and although I may make it, he advises to take later flight (which I agreed to do).

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately since it's leaving TLV on a Saturday there really are not many other options for me as TK only has two flights that day. I will take your suggestions and keep my fingers crossed!
I'm facing a very tight connection next week: MAD-IST-AYT. TK changed the flight to AYT to make it 5 minutes earlier, but apparently that's not enough to convince them that I should be allowed to change to a later flight. (This is an award ticket booked through United. They keep telling me that TK will just put me on the next flight, and there are several more that night so I hope I'll get there eventually.)
So assuming I have only 45 minutes, and am flying economy, can anyone advise whether I will be better off carrying my baggage or checking it through? If I check it through, must I collect it to clear customs? If so, I assume carrying it on will be quicker.
And are there any shortcuts to the domestic terminal from the international one?
Thanks, and good luck to the OP!

I once flew TK international to IST, then connected to a domestic flight to Nevsehir. Luggage was checked through to Nevsehir. It was the last one to come out, and a customs officer checked the luggage before I was allowed to wheel it off the terminal.
Thanks, Carrotjuice. Sounds like checking luggage would save me some time and lighten my load for the dash through the terminal.
