KLM Flying Dutchman - Just a short rant on very moody, rude FA

I generally find KL's crews nice, attentive and friendly people. Every now and then I encounter an FA whose service goes far beyond what is to be expected, which always adds a nice touch to the flight experience.

But last night on the WAW-AMS flight one of the FA's was so moody, rude and snappy that I am surprised that none of my fellow passengers grabbed her by the throat... I wasn't in the mood for an argument, but if she'd treated me the way she treated some of the other passengers (snapping because she couldn't understand what the passenger was saying; throwing the snacks onto passengers' laps; etc) I certainly would have filed an official complaint.

Excellent advertising for KL :rolleyes:, I wouldn't be surprised if they lose business over this...

Why not file a complaint? It clearly was disturbing enough..

I think that overall the KL crews do a very good job. There are always some bad apples (on any airline), but overall they do well. Everybody has bad days (or unfortunate personal situations) and we all agree that these should not be taken into the workplace, but it is only human after all.

When you do encounter someone who is acting inappropriately, you should contact KLM about it. I am not talking about small mistakes or whatnot, but if someone is clearly out of line it should be communicated.
