I'm Platinum of PriorityClub for 3 years and became RA just now. I've lived in Holidayinn, Crowne Plaza, Intercontinental, Holidayinn express in these years. I felt, not only in Intercontinental, but also in Crowne Plaza or Holiday inn, if you're RA, the benefits was better than Platinum of PriorityClub.

In many of CP or Holiday Inn in my country, Platinum just could be upgraded yr room within 1-level, but if I shew RA, I could be upgrade to suite size, access executive lounge and free mini-bar usually!

So IHG, I suggested you just leave Ambassador enough, you should cancel PriorityClub program!

What is so strange that people who "live in hotels" have better treatment than people who do not?

Are you complaining to be to well treated now that you are RA, which means that you are one of IHG's best customers?

Are you not happy to be RA?
If not, send a letter to Priority Club just to be a standard Platinum. :D:D

Is the OP not saying that:
1) The benefits of RA are great
2) The benefits of PC are poor
3) Therefore just dump the PC program and keep the Ambassador program

I don't quite know what he/she suggests for the 99% of ambassadors who are excluded from the RA tier by its defining membership criteria or the countless millions of plain PC members for whom the Ambassador program offers squat. But then maybe the great unwashed should be just cast aside and the world function solely for the elite of the elite ;)
