As SQ is my main airline I often take it either on biz or pleasure.
Noticed that they offer very strong air condition in the cabin, i assume it
as Sg-style hospitality, but too much:td:...

I usually wear long sleeve shirt and prep fleece jacket + muffler in case the A/C
is punishingly strong - use of blanket is quite common. Occasionally 'additional'
blanket is necessary for me:(.

Just wondering why Singapore Girls (female cabin attendants) are alrite with
that special costume of Salon Kebaya... wide open front + exposed neck,
shorter sleeve and sandals.... their working place is quite strong A/C.....

Is there any special testing during recruitment ?
Why they can work without health problem - one of SQ wonders to me :D

Maybe that is the reason why the service is often cold! :D

Sorry couldn't resist.
More than once, I have asked the steward to adjust the cabin temperature. I appreciate that the majority of the pax might not want a steaming cabin but there is a sensible half way point. When I see 10's of fellow pax shivering under their blanket, I will mention it to the crew. They have always increased the temperature accordingly.

Temperature is pretty subjective. I often find it barely just right or far too warm to my liking. :)

Maybe OP was just sitting near a open air vent... I usually find SQ flights far too warm to use the duvet at all. That's why the last 2 rows on the Upper Deck on the A380 is perfect - temperature wise.

On every flight you will have complainers, some will say oh its too cold, while others will say oh, its too hot. And the crew, they don't feel it as they are running up and down the darned aisles, so even if it is too cold, they won't care.

Just take it, or like you say take that darned sweater with you each time.

Separate cabins have their own thermostats..

On the other hand, SQ's SOP on temperature is 23º Centigrade.. :)

Another very subjective matter...

Often times you will see people on this forum complaining about how the temperature onboard Asian airlines is way too high.

From my experience SQ makes the cabin way too cold, sometimes you walk up like you're recovering from an autopsy...

When did you have your autopsy, lucky devil you, made it back alive.

Not every airline can be as perfect as LH which leaves the cabin temperature and fumes at the level they are when they come right from the engine ...
