Mileage Run Discussion - SFO-TLV in JULY

Any suggestions on how to optimize SFO-TLV in July?

The best I can do is SFO-LAX-IAD-FRA-TLV. 17,410 miles $1,998.

if you want to try for more mi, then post the ticket info incl dates, carriers, flight #s & $....

edit to add....7/11-7/25 sfo-tlv on ua shows $1833 for sfo-ewr-tlv rt w 16,480 mi....if this price is good on your dates, you are paying ~ 10 c/pqm for the additional mi...that isn't a good deal....i'd look for $300ish mrs sfo-iad rt or other to get pqm...

edit again....7/7-7/21 is $1867 for the 2 segs each way, still not a good deal....w/o considering the extra 2 connections....

hmm... why don't you just mix the carriers?
LAX-TLV from $1410

I'm looking to Fly Jul4-13.

LAX-TLV is $1697 on UA for these dates. SFO-LAX is $200. So the total would be $1,897.

SFO-TLV is $1,894 on UA for these dates.

the routing, price, etc that you posted in your op is still available?....if so, would you do because you need the pqm?

Anyone wanting to help OP out with ideas can PM them as adding the specific dates makes this a fare request rather than a MR and as is outlined in the forum sticky here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mileage-run-deals/454485-welcome-mileage-run-forum-important-information-how-mr-forums-work.html) soliciting fare help for a set of dates on a specific route is more the function of a travel agent than FT.
