So I've been following some of these forums for a long time, and truly appreciate the wealth of info that you experts have shared. Although I'm a long-term frequent flier, I'm a new elite (US Gold) and am, for the first time ever, trying to work a weekend trip into an MR (Which I realize means it isn't a true MR. Bear with me.) I'm getting really frustrated and would appreciate anything y'all can offer.

I found a flight on ExpertFlyer for RIC-SJU, June 8-10. The price on the first listed flight is 228, which is friggin spectacular.

When I click the rules icon, I get the following:

Also - when I hit up the US Airways website for options, I'm getting $400.00 plus pricetags and virtually no connections.

Thanks KvS! Ok, I see the two transfer rule.

With regard to availability- this is part of my confusion. I'm searching availability with ExpertFlyer and returning RIC-PHL-CLT-SJU, and when I click "view fares" I still get the $228 fare. But then when I flip back to the availability search it only shows RIC-PHL-SJU.

So ok, I'm assuming that what I see here is that despite all those awesome routing options, the only real availability is on RIC-PHL-SJU. But I'm still stuck, because us airs website won't display any fares anywhere near that $228.00 figure. Is there something there I'm missing as well? Will calling to book and explaining what I am seeing allow me to book the fare that cheap?
