South - New Orleans with a kid

Hello -

I, my wife, and 2.5 year old will be in NOLA in mid-may for 8 days. Rented a place in Marigny and will have a car to go visit friends around the area.

Looking for ideas and suggestions on what to do / where to go with a young child in the city itslef. Parks, experiences, restaurants, etc. All ideas are welcome.

City Park (not too far from The Marigny)
Ride the Riverfront Streetcar
Louisiana Childrens Museum on Julia St. in the Warehouse District
