Hyatt Gold Passport - Points deducted 9 months after stay

Has anyone had points deducted 9 months after a stay? Points were just taken for a stay from last July. .... And the website is of course down so I can't reconcile it.

Does OP check your account frequently? Perhaps, you forgot the total points you earned last time.

So I guess they're right. The points for the PH Paris were never deducted. Apparently someone in the finance dept at the hotel discovered it through an audit and my account was then deducted. I'm told they technically have 1 year to correct this type of mistake.

Same thing happened to DH's account for a stay made in Australia last July. The points were only recently deducted. Not complaining as he did use the points, just took them a while to work it out.

9 months is a pretty extreme example. In most cases points are deducted prior to the beginning of the stay.
