I try to search for tkt HKG/SYD/HKG, I wish to find out he fareclass of SweetDeal and Flexifare before I commit to purchase. I know probably afterI finalized the purchase, I will know the fare class. However, how the Sweetdeal fare qualifies for 50% of Krisflyer miles.

Sweetdeals are not necessarily 1 fare class - they can be multiple fare classes. Best way to check the fare class is find a sweet deal select it and get to the Review Itinerary page. On that page you should find a link to the fare rules for that fare. Click on it and a table should pop up. Look for the fare basis code. The fare class is typically the first letter of the code.

Example : HKG-SYD-HKG 10 June - 27 June I was able to pull up a sweet deals fare of HKD 7375. This is in fare class "N"

Most sweet deal fare classes do not accrue UA miles. The only SQ fare classes that credit 100 % UA miles are :
