Other Car Rental Programs (ie. Alamo, Enterprise) - ALAMO LAX - Combining Corp & Coupon Code

Anyone else having problems with the coupon code not being applied online for LAX rentals? Whether I enter the Costco or the BJ's corp code & coupon, the corp discount is applied but not the coupon discount. I get the following message: "Your coupon cannot be applied to this reservation." Same thing happens when I try to enter an insider coupon instead.

It appears this is only happening for LAX. Anybody else encountered this? If the coupon code isn't applied online, can I just write down the coupon code and take it and my costco card to the counter so I can get the extra $30 off?

My best guess, which is all I can do with the scant info you have given, is user error. I tried several, and they all work fine.

ok for LAX for april 27, 2012 to may 25, 2012, using the costco corporate code, you are also able to get coupon codes to be applied as well? thanks.

Dont know then. I would call and make it over the phone. I am pretty much positive that they will not honor it if you just print it and bring it with you. Is there any way you can shorten it by breaking it up into 2 reservations?

You can also use the costco booking engine, which does allow the coupons.

yea, i may have to try over the phone if online doesn't work. i definitely recall for a monthly rental being able to apply the costco corp discount + various coupon codes. i tried to reduce it to a 2 week rental and coupon still doesn't work. the reason i think there's an issue is because if you change the airport to one other than LAX, corp code and coupon code both work...

thanks for your reply. tried the costco booking engine last night... price kept coming back higher than alamo site (with costco corp code only). for example, $725 vs $655 for same monthly rental.

I am showing full size $685 thru costco, and $860 thru Alamo.
