Anyone else have trouble with this? I used it for the first time this month, and probably the last. Started with a minor problem, car park ticket not validated. easily fixed. Then I was sent an invoice, and my card debited, for somebody else's rental. An error, spoke to Avis, they promised to credit me back the money. They didn't. Then I left the car at the appointed time (9am) on the appointed day at T5. It was picked up at 6pm. My quoted 309GPB rental for 9 days was billed at over 500GBP because apparently I'm responsible for the time elapsed until they bother to collect it AND the rate changes that result from the delay. Nice trick, eh? All of the above is forgivable if Avis would resolve the issue, but they don't. I'm out of pocket and apparently nobody is authorized to talk to me, having called this morning I'm told it is being looked at and I'll get an email in 5 days from now.
