Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Hilton and Avis miles posting?

Since 2007, I have been Star Gold with BMI but as they are leaving Star Alliance I have decided to move over to TK as my primary FFP. I have flown TK quite a lot in the past and when I learned that your earn 1x miles on all of their low economy fares if you post to Miles & Smiles, the choice was pretty simple. Since joining in March, I have posted around 10k to my account with another 30k booked this spring.

With BMI, there used to be a lot of problem with getting Hilton miles to post but over the last couple of years, these problems have been resolved and miles now post during the first week of every month. What about TK? I had ten stays in March, two of which I decided to post to BMI (they have now appared in my BMI account) and eight with TK of which I have seen nothing yet. How long does it normally take? Are manual retro-registration often necessary? I also had one car rental in the US with Avis where I put in my TK number, still no miles from that either.

I tried to search but could not find any information on this topic with regard to TK. Thanks a lot in advance!

Don't have an answer, but I'm very interested in this as well. I just changed my Hilton earnings preference to points+miles and set TK as my airline. I have a stay tomorrow night so we'll see how that goes.

I've only sent one Hilton stay to TK, and it might have taken a few weeks but was indeed automatic.

It took more than a month but in the end the Hilton miles did post automatically. Now I only need to chase those 500 miles from Avis. Not to mention basically every flight since my middle name is missing in my Turkish profile and that prevents every flight with that name on from posting automatically. Guess I have to send them a copy of my passport so that they can change.

I've had several Avis rentals over the past year or so, and all of them automatically credited to my M&S account, usually in a month or so.
