Have any US citizens visited Iran recently? I know US citizens have to be on a tour to get the visa. I applied for my visa approval number now over 3 months ago but haven't heard a response from my tour company.

I visited Iran in November on a US passport. The visa took about 40 days to issue. What does your tour company say? I know when we were there our tour company told us Iran had temporarily stopped issuing visas for Americans but it only lasted a couple weeks.

We applied in January.. but looks like it is not going to happen. Leaving for Central Asia on Friday and have not yet received the visa authorization. :(
