747 F being the cargo version I guess any row should be fairly private . You might feel lonely .

a friend of mine who travels F syd BKK a lot recently came home on the 747 from BKK to SYD
he said the condition of the seating etc was terrible
anyone else experienced it and is this the normal aircraft from BKK to syd now?

SYD-BKK was often operated by the old 747 All Series during Jan & Feb - I'm guessing thats what they're referring to - it was a short lived issue when the 747 first started on the route this year.
