China - Shanghai limo

After noting the thread on PVG private transfers, I still want to know if anyone has any recommendations for a limo service to pick up at PVG and SZX drop in city. I know everyone recommends a taxi but for those on expenses who dont want to queue up and would prefer a more spacious car with a lot of luggage, whom do you recommend? I see Shanghai Limo has an English-language website, but are there better ones? I imagine the ones operated by hotels are very expensive. I take car services all over the world, including home port of JFK, which also has taxis at reasonable rates. I am not budget travelling and I enjoy the security of having someone pick me up. If for no other reason than if I lose my cellphone or umbrella, i know whom to call.

You could try Hertz (hertzchina.com). They offer a range of services in China including chauffeur airport transfers. Prices are competitive compared to the hotels (even better if you have a hertz corporate agreement). I know a number of individuals and corporations that use the service in a number of cities in China, and reports have always been positive with excellent service.

Depending on the hotel you're staying in, some have limo service. You might want to check their website or call.

A friend of mine has an Audi guy that he likes. Email me and I can make an intro.

Never seen at airports in China "limos" in the traditional sense you would find
in Vegas, more so black cars MBs, BMWs, Audis etc.

Just book through your hotel, any decent hotel will offer this service. It should be between 600-900 RMB depending on how much they want to help themselves to your expense account.
I've never had to queue for more than 2 minutes for a taxi in over 100 arrivals at Pudong terminal 2. The cost is less than 200 RMB to anywhere in town and they have ample luggage space.

This thread is showing up on my MyFlyertalk page because it says there is a new reply, but I can't see it. (Part of the reason I'm posting this useless message is to make the alert go away, but I'm also curious about the content of the invisible post.)

Something odd...oh well not like I am losing any money.

Turned out to be $150 US. That seems pretty excessive. So I ended up in a taxi, which was fine for 35 yuan ($6). Only have you ever noticed that while all taxis have seat belts, none of them have the anchor to connect them to. Its a little hair raising when they are belting along at 120 kms

if you insist on seatbelts (as per company requirements) - they are all tucked away under the seat (most of the time). We normally just check before we go in and then lift up the seats to take out the anchors for the belts.

They don't mind and there's a shoulder harness. 120 is slow. The drivers know where the radar guns are and usually really haul. My friends from the Philippines were begging the driver to slow down.

Sorry for the late reply, but being a Budget Travel kind of guy limos aren't really my thing ;)
At any rate, the reason you got a message that there is a reply is that someone posted SPAM, but an alert (I assume) senior moderator deleted it before you had a chance to look (as a mod I see deleted posts, though not their content).
EmailKid, deleting SPAM posts in Budget Travel forum :)

I've never waited more than 5 mins at Pudong terminal 2 for a taxi. Terminal 1 sometimes a bit longer. Taxi to Regal East Asia should be about 160rmb. What's up with the 4 hour arrival window?
