I see that we now have Liat who is slowly but surely becoming more and more and more active on FT. Is EL AL Rep. an official position at LY, and do they care what people on FT say, or is it just the username for someone who knows things, working at LY?

Is LY Insider an employee at LY with knowledge? Does the change to Formerly LY Insider indicate a change thanks to LY, FT, or said user?

Yes, no longer an LY Insider so I decided to ask for a name change. I still have all my friends there so I hope to still be able to provide insider knowledge but I personally am no longer based at the head office at BGN.

Yes, no longer an LY Insider so I decided to ask for a name change.I actually think your new handle is a little misleading (not intentionally I know) and "Previously LY Insider" would have been a better choice, because the first thing I thought (and others probably would as well) was that you are now a formal LY rep here.

Much better would have been to change your name completely and under that there would usually be a comment mentioning your previous handle.

EL AL Rep. is the only official EL AL rep on FT. There have been no others to my knowledge.

They are having an okay Q1 so people are hopeful. Shkedi says that they are coming up with a plan for the next 20 years but many ppl at LY don't believe that he is the man for this. His lack of knowledge in many areas has been embarrassing like when he spoke about the alliance fiasco.

Because thecommon employee doesn't blieve that he is the right man to lead them, the moral is really low. The company has been cutting back on the employees ability to fly on LY restricting the availability of seats to emps and retirees. With already low salaries and reduced benefits, the Histadrut is the only thing keeping some friends there. But it is hurting the company as they have too many workers worldwide. Station managers, sales promoters, vice presidents etc who are being compensated abroad with education for children etc. with LON so close, they don't need such a big staff. They could put a GSA there and save a lot.

I'm glad to hear my presence has been noticed. :)
Being an EL AL rep here is, indeed, one of the official responsibilities as part of my position in EL AL.
Although I sometimes miss certain topics regarding EL AL, I try to stay updated, and we take the FT community very seriously.
