I'll be taking the Lake Shore Limited from Chicago to Buffalo in August.
It's scheduled to arrive in Buffalo at 08.58. Is it realistic to think of catching a connecting bus from downtown Buffalo to Toronto at 10.15 that morning?

I will already have my bus ticket. It wouldn't be a disaster if we didn't get this bus, but the next one isn't for another 4 hours.

After 15+ hours travelling, I'm sure we'll be keen to get to our hotel in Toronto.

How do you intend to get to downtown Buffalo from the train station?

The train stops in DEPEW, NY not downtown Buffalo.

If you want the easy way to Toronto try Megabus from Buffalo airport which is much closer to the train station than downtown Buffalo only problem is the bus is not till like 2 PM.
I do not know what cab fare is to downtown Buffalo or the airport

BTW the average delay lately for the LSL to BUf is about one hour

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't make it clear in my original post, but I know that the train stops at Depew. I had planned to try and get a taxi to the bus station in downtown Buffalo.

I think I'll just plan on getting one of the afternoon services.
