Club Carlson - Park Plaza Medulin (HR) - before Hotel Medulin?

As I want do a long weekend family stay I found on clubcarlson webside the park plaza medulin- a nice 4 **** star resort.

doing a quick research on other booking sides I found under the same adress the Hotel Medulin (3 ***) - with nearly identical description.

Anybody here have idea if it is the same hotel? (Maybe new to carlson group after renovation?)

Ok, so I am back from Croatia - Park Plaza Medulin.

All the staff was really friendly, but at the check in they needed a lot of time to find my reservation. But after they called the manager everything was good.

Fact is that this hotel is very new in the Radisson Group so they dont know much about CC and the different status.

So I got the first time this year no upgrade. The room was not that big but quite nice. After I came back from the pool in the evening I found a welcome present (a mix of fresh fruits, then a package of various local herbs and a welcome letter signed by the Manager and his vice)

The only thing I didnt like that much was the thing that there are many tourist groups - so the breakfast buffet which is a really good one is occupied all the time.

But i could say for a couple of days for relaxing it is a good mid class hotel.

as booking the medulin park plaza on one of the radisson websides is very expensiv (in comparison with booking the same hotel as "hotel medulin" on some tourist related side like expedia egg.) - I think I will choose another mid class hotel in crotia (in the rabac aerea).
