Folks,

I am delighted to announce the appointment of Villavic as Forum Ambassador for the Peru Forum.

Villavic is a native Peruvian and lives in Lima. He has already established himself as the go-to guy on the Peru forum, helping out with a wide variety of newbie and "old-hands" questions alike. His knowledge and experience is first-class.

The role of an Ambassador is to provide new members a welcoming hand to enquiries, to provide guidance and assistance on program updates/changes and to assist with the overall management of the forum.

Please join me in welcoming Villavic to his new role...

Regards

SIMON

Thank you Simon for the kind words, and the vote of confidence in selecting me to be the Peru forum Ambassador.

Let me introduce myself. I'm Carlos V., I live in Lima, Peru. A natural born traveler, I have traveled since I was 18, though at 7 I got the first opportunity to know a foreign country. I’ve been around 25 countries, 70 cities. And within Peru.. countless. Travels are my passion. By plane, by train, in groups, on my own, off road, etc.

I found FlyerTalk.com in 2010 while looking for info about China, my travel project at that time. Then I started to add posts in other forums (NYC, South America, Argentina, Brasil, etc.) asking for info. Also I love to help people who are planning trips to Peru, any kind of trips.

Make people know other less known places of Peru is also one of my goals. Peru is a megadiverse rich country and though our landmark is one of the new seven wonders, this country is far more than Machu Picchu. Of course I do not know everything, but I love to research so any kind of information you want to know about Perú, I’ll be glad to help.
