Travel Products - 'Business Casual' pants with zippered security pockets

Hi,
Can anyone recommend any good mens Business Casual pants, that have zippered security pockets? The zippered pockets could be either in the back or front.
I noticed on the Rohan website that their pants have zippered pockets. While many of their pants look more like casual travel pants, they did have several that looked like they might work. Does anyone have any experience with Rohan pants? If yes, do they fit true to size?
Also, I have several pairs of the Railriders 'Adventure Khakis'. They are ideal for casual purposes, but are too casual (in my opinion) to pass for business casual attire.
I have tried on several different pairs of Tilley pants, and they do not fit me well in the waist and hips.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I've got a pair of 5.11 Coverts on right now, with a blazer for the "casual Friday." They have a regular and zipped pocket on each side and two that are on-seam zipped and virtually invisible. They aren't as dressy as a pair of basic chinos but aren't far off. I have 2 pairs and don't wear the regular tacticals much at all any more.

Any decent tailor can fit a pocket with a zipper for probably very little money if you have some pants you already like. They could also put it deeper in the pocket than you normally see, so it doesn't look like they have a zipper.

In answer to the OP's question, as I sit here typing in my Rohan bags ... :D
They are good to their sizes. I use the Bags and Winter Bags for casual use, and have some of their more business like stuff for informal travel and meetings. I particularly like the zippered pocket arrangements that they offer. In the business pants they are like a double side pocket, with the rear section zippered and the front section like a normal trouser pocket, although the zip is hidden in the pocket.
You get used to a "habit" of how things pack when you are regularly travelling, and, for example, I have handkerchief in the outer pocket and folding notes in the zipped section behind it. On the other side I have a purse for change in the outer and a small holder for plastic cards in the zipped section. It is comfortable and practical. Feel free to enquire if you need to know more.

I have two pairs of these REI Adventures Pants. http://www.rei.com/product/784059/rei-adventures-pants-mens-30-inseam
May be a bit too casual for your needs, but I found them to be great travel pants, doesn't look like the typical hiking pants. Dries fast overnight after a wash in the sink. A little wrinkled intitially, but smooths out after a few minutes of wear. Lots of pockets, including zippered side pockets.

Thanks for the information. Are the front pockets fairly deep? Also, are the zippered pockets - both the front and back zippered pockets - sized properly to hold an average sized wallet?

They are normal full length pockets both open and zippered. I often put my passport in the zippered part. A wallet would fit in either section.

I suspect the the expression "Business Casual" that the OP gives is not quite what others may have in mind when they recommend the various walking/hiking cargo pants.
I know some of types of Rohan that the OP has in mind. I am a lawyer and will wear them at informal/casual meetings and at dinner when we are not in suits!
The walking/cargo pants are fine for gardening or even walking the dog, but are not "Business Casual" IMHO ;)

What? I'm a a lawyer in a 750+ firm and when it's casual in the office it's casual. If you dress that way (and many do for the commute) , then for client contact, some internal meetings or biz out of the office you just pull out the BB suit from the closet. The days of hip casual are over, so if it's the after work thing or anything else out of the office after hours it's just a suit and no tie.

It only has one zippered pocket, but for inexpensive bus casual you might look at Dockers Comfort Cargo Classics. They're only called cargo pants due to the hidden zipper pocket and look like normal flat-front Dockers (the darker colors look a bit more professional.)
They used to make a line of hidden zipper pockets behind the normal right-hand pocket but the cargo pocket is lower on the thigh & is primarily designed to hold a smart phone or mp3 player.
These are my new default travel pants as I like having my wallet zipped up if I fall asleep on the aircraft.

As Otheron suggested, our P^cubed - Pick-Pocket Proof Pants (http://clothingarts.com) have secure pockets and will pass as Business Casual. We actually call our 100% cotton, classic straight leg chino the Business Traveler (http://clothingarts.com/pickpocket_proof_pants_business_traveler) and they look incredible underneath a sport jacket.
The difference between our pants and the others mentioned is that we create all around security so both front and back pockets have multiple layers of protection between your wallet and the world. We even give you a triple secure pocket hidden beneath one of the rear cargo pocket - plus pockets for your business cards/smartphones/digital cameras, pockets that expand to fit large guidebooks and all our rear cargo pockets are cut resistant. Then we go a step further and coat the pants with DuPont highest grade of release/repel teflon called Advanced Dual Action Teflon which has twice the durability vs their standard finishes found on some of our competitors.
We would love all of you to upgrade to our Business or Adventure Travelers and for one week, we will offer you a 20% discount by typing in "flyertalk" at checkout.
We've are looking to grow our wearer-base and guarantee you'll love the pants when they arrive at your door or we'll refund your purchase no questions asked.

Have been looking at what appears to be the exact same pant as the P cubed - Pick-Pocket Proof Pants selling for $149.00 at a well know outlet. Even has the cube on one of the tabs. I never made the purchase as only one length, too short, is available...

As someone who is currently considering but dreading going back to wearing a security belt I can appreciate these models and their features. Thanks for sharing. ^

The pants you are looking at are made by us - we cannot control what the companies we sell our pants to charge for them.
Our P^cubed Pants are sold under Pick-Pocket Proof Pants by every major travel catalog - the build quality combined with all our patented features caught their eye at the tradeshows we do and its an honor to see the pants printed in their pages.

Yes, the other site is the one with only one inseam size. I saw what is on the Clothing Arts site and that is why I made my post. I addition to the multiple size options Clothing Arts also offers several color selection options.
These pants (http://clothingarts.com/pickpocket_proof_pants_business_traveler) enable a multitude of options when paired with the multiple pocket jacket from Scottevest (http://www.scottevest.com/index2.shtml) and the hidden pocket Cool Weave (http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/GuidednavDisplay?categoryId=72777&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&moe=ordhistory&feat=WEB-oh)shirt from LLBean.
The Dockers pants with one zip side pocket are also available from JC Penny's (http://www.jcpenney.com/dotcom/gifts/for-him/pants/dockers%25c2%25ae-classic-fit-comfort-cargo-pants/prod.jump?ppId=183afcd&selectedLotId=5145703&selectedSKUId=51457030166&rootDimName=product%20type&navState=navState-:catId-:subcatId-:subcatZone-false:N-%204294965895:Ns-:Nao-0:ps-24:pn-1:Ntt-cargo:Nf-:action-guided%20navigation&topDim=Product%20Type&topDimvalue=pants&dimCombo=Product%20Type&dimComboVal=pants¤tDim=Product%20Type¤tDimVal=pants&searchCount=157&sortType=Best%20Match&searchTerm=cargo&catId=SearchResults).
They have been my travelers for a while and the side pocket is a good place for a wallet when sitting for extended periods.
I am "old school" and prefer the pants from Magellen's (http://www.magellans.com/store/Clothing___Men___Pants___ShortsMP567) with two zippered pockets for business meetings and dressier dinners.

Just a warning, there are two styles of Dockers cargoes. The pocket on the ones listed at the JC Penny's link has an exterior pocket with a horizontal zip and look more like cargo pants (Amazon also has this style.) The Kohls link posted above has a vertical zipper & the pocket is inside the pant leg which is hidden and looks more 'business casual' as long as you don''t overstuff it :). Unfortunately websites list them with the same name, you have to look carefully at the pictures.

Thank you for point that out. On a closer look the zipper appears to be vertical, and you cannot see the stitching for the pocket on the pants leg.
Off to Kohls tomorrow..
