Greetings all,

Just checked in at PIT, flying PIT-JFK-LHR today, and I realized I left the power cord for my Macbook Pro at home.

Does anybody know if there is a place to buy a replacement cord at either PIT or JFK?

If not, I may have to resort to getting one in London at an Apple store.

Thanks for your help!

edit: Just realized this is probably too late, you are probably on your way or already in London by now.

there's a Best Buy on Rockaway Tpk in Lawrence, maybe 15 - 20 minutes from JFK, but it will probably cost you a small fortune to get there and back since you cross over the NYC line. The fare is supposed to be 2x the meter once you cross into Nassau county, but you will want the driver to wait for you and return. Is that worth an extra $50 - $60 to you, if you even have the time in JFK? If it is I would try to negotiate a flat rate for the trip with the driver. Make it worth it for the driver.

I think your best bet is an Apple Store in London. That way you can just get screwed by paying the same face amount in sterling. :)

Which adaptor do you need? 85W or 60W? Don't forget to check availability before you go. The Lawrence store has both.
