Does anyone have any ideas as to the odds of finding one ?

Thinking about 1st class on either EC or TLK trains, Warsaw to Katowice/Poznan/Bydgoszc/Szecin.

EC and EIC trains should have them. TLK trains, probably not. If second class on an EIC train between Warsaw and Poznań has outlets (the newer coaches, at least), then I am inclined to believe that first class would have them as well.

I am boarding a TLK train to Częstochowa on Sunday (which goes onward to Wrocław), so I can probably check to see if what I'm saying is necessarily correct.

Would be glad to know as to the TLK you boarded.....

No outlets in the cabin itself, but some coaches have outlets which line the corridor. In my case, the coach I was in going to Częstochowa had outlets, but the coach going back to Warsaw did not. I presume this is the case in both classes.

I imagine TLK first class though to be similar to EC or EIC second class, just on a slower train.

TLK from Poznan to Szczecin and then return, 1st class both ways. No power socket in either (bar the odd one every so often in the corridor).

I would guess it's EIC trains mainly...

TLK 1st class looks identical to 2nd class, just with fewer people (and at a minimal difference in cost, worthwhile...)
