AirTran Airways A+ Rewards - First Time - How to do an Upgrade?

Is there an FAQ or good post that can walk me through what I need to do to upgrade.

Taking my first long flight on AirTran and want to use some of those credits I have earned.

Looking for when to call?
What to call?
Do I have to get reward first or do I call and up and do it all at once.

I believe you can call 2 days before the flight. You don't have to buy the "voucher" anymore ahead of time.

Call 1-800-AIR-TRAN after midnight Eastern time (an hour ahead of you) the day *prior* to use credits for upgrade. If seats are available of course.

That's a good jump on those buying upgrades. Only Elites using credits and of course full BC fares can beat you.

Definately worth a late night call.
