LAN LANPASS - Tight connection at Lima

I am looking at flights in July from MPN to ARI for some winter sunshine in the City of Eternal Spring.
ITA has thrown up a cheap fare which on the outward involves the following routing: MPN-PUQ-PMC-SCL-LIM-LPB-IQQ-ARI!
Not a problem (indeed, it almost counts as an MR - though most of it only counts at 25%) ... apart from the 1hr 5min connection at LIM.
LAN-LAN, 9.30-10.35am and through ticketed but Int'l-Int'l: is 1hr 5mins enough???

If you are on time, you have PLENTY of time. If not, good luck!
Are you on a LAN snackbox collection trip? :o

This may be a good place to ask this question. I have been doing overnights in GYE because I thought I wouldn't make connections from LIM in time for the 2:00 flight to JFK.
But when I boarded that flight this week there were pax from LIM already on board so I now believe that the LIM-GYE flight LA1630 continues to JFK as flight XL538 which means there is no way I could miss the connection (since it's the same aircraft) and the overnight stays in GYE are totally unnecessary. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks for the response.
In the meantime, I've done a bit more tweaking on ITA and got the same sort of fare without the Lima connection.
One fewer snack box but less hassle and bizarrely more miles on AA because more of it counts at 100% ...

If you have eliminated LIM-LPB then I think you have avoided a LANwich rather than a snack box.
Wise move! (and looks like a cool itinerary)

Update:
Thanks again for the info.
In the end, my plans changed a bit and I got even more creative with the routing. The bulk of my trip will still be beach time at Arica but I ended up booking:
MPN-RGL-PUQ-PMC-SCL-ANF-IQQ-LPB (open jaw) TCQ-LIM (layover) LIM-SCL (layover) SCL-PUQ-MPN
Is this a record??? ;-)
