AirTran Airways A+ Rewards - Any hotel partners at this point?

I would love to add to my balance. I'm Elite and would love to accelerate my A+ earnings, but it looks like the hotel partners are gone. I guess this is because of Southwest.

Do you know of other ways to get these credits, besides flying them and Hertz?

Hertz is to expensive in Milwaukee to use.

I think Hertz and Teleflora are the only remaining A+ partners.

RE Hertz, I am renting from them in a couple of weeks out of MKE. The cost for a 1-day rental on Saturday was $20 and change - not bad for earning 1.5 A+ credits.

Good idea, except that Southwest's hotel partners have been dropping off like flies... Starwood (transfers ended), Marriott (total drop), and Hilton (total drop). Hyatt remains for now, but their points are more valuable than the others.

Note that Ultimate Rewards will transfer to Southwest, but it does not count toward a Companion Pass. This is currently the only transfer excluded from the CP point count, but it's probably a sign of things to come.

The easiest 50k is the Rapid Rewards Visa card if you haven't already annoyed Chase by continually applying for new credit cards from them. ;)
