Qatar Airways Privilege Club - My First Qatar Airways Flight

Happy to report that my first flight on QR went extremely well.

I like the 23:40 departure time and the fact that QR uses AA's Terminal 8. It's my favorite terminal at JFK and it feels less crowded and busy than the others.

After checking in, I waited in the Flagship Lounge and had a light supper. The lamb was quite good and the sushi wasn't bad.

A QR agent came to find me when it was time for me to board and I was lucky that the seat next to me (1b) was empty so I had both to myself and could leave one as a bed and one as a seat for dining etc.

The service and food were great. I decided the best strategy was to go sleep almost immediately and I woke up 5 or so hours later and had something to eat. Soon enough we were there.

Awesome. Just came back from a Bangkok > Cairo in Business. It was also my first on Qatar. Love the lounge in Doha, just wish I had more time to spend in in it, will have to try the spa next time. :o

The server in the lounge was also nice enough to box up some of their premium dates to bring back as presents. ;)
